Global Peace Photo Award 2026

The Global Peace Photo Award is an Austrian-based international award for photographs that show what peace looks like, presented in the Austrian Parliament and run with Edition Lammerhuber. It is free to enter, accepts single images and series of up to 20 photographs, and the 2026 call closed on 24 May with the shortlist since published. On authenticity the rules ask for disclosure rather than proof: edited images must say so in the caption, reportage must not change the meaning of a scene, and the jury may exclude AI-generated work. Submissions are .jpg files with more than 3,000 pixels on the longest side. Digitally edited images must state in their captions what was done to them, and reportage photographs must not be manipulated in a way that changes the meaning of the picture. AI-generated images are not banned outright; the jury reserves the right to exclude them.
