The RAW file is the most valuable thing a photographer holds, and most organisations have their own rules about where images may be processed. Lumethic uses your files for the verification you asked for, on infrastructure in the EU, and for nothing else.
Used for one purpose
Uploads are used to run the verification you requested. They are not reused, shared or opened for any other reason.
Never shown, sold or trained on
Your RAW original is not shown on any share page, not passed to third parties and not used to train models. The submitted photo and the verification report remain in your account until you delete them.
EU-based infrastructure
Processing runs on infrastructure located in the European Union, which keeps verification within the EU for organisations that require it.
Deletion in line with the GDPR
Any image data still held follows a deletion process consistent with the right to erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR.
What Lumethic does not do
Our limits with your images
Some of the assurance comes from what the service deliberately does not do with your images.
- Your RAW files are used for the check you asked for and for nothing else.
- Your images are never used to train models. The verification is a forensic comparison and collects nothing for any other purpose.
- We do not sell or share your images with third parties for their own purposes.
- You are not asked to upload your archive. You verify the photos you choose, when you choose to.

A verification moves through three stages.
Encrypted upload
The RAW file and the export are sent over an encrypted connection.
Verification
The forensic comparison runs against both files. The result records what was checked and with which version of the method.
Result and credential
The credential and report are produced. The report and the submitted photo stay in your account until you delete them.

What to tell your compliance team
Processing runs on infrastructure located in the European Union, which keeps every part of a verification within the EU. Image data follows a deletion process consistent with Article 17 of the GDPR.

How is my RAW file handled?
It is used to run the verification you requested and for nothing else. It is not shown on share pages, not shared with third parties and not used for training. The submitted photo and the verification report remain in your account until you delete them; the privacy policy describes retention in full. If you uploaded the file in answer to someone else's request, it is processed under that person's account, and they decide how long the record is kept.
Where is my data processed?
On infrastructure located in the European Union. This keeps verification within the EU for organisations that require it.
Do you use my images to train AI?
No. Your images are used only to run the verification you requested. They are not added to a training set or reused for another purpose.
