Wiki Loves Folklore 2027

Wiki Loves Folklore is an international Wikimedia media campaign documenting intangible cultural heritage: festivals, rituals, music, costume, food and craft, in photos, video and audio. Entry is free and worldwide, with regional prizes across eight world regions and a global first prize of 500 US dollars. The 2026 campaign ran on Wikimedia Commons from 1 February to 31 March 2026 and its international results have been declared on the campaign page. The 2027 edition is expected to open in February, following last year's calendar; no 2027 page existed on Commons in November 2026. The AI rule is among the strictest in any open campaign: media created by artificial intelligence is excluded even where Commons would otherwise accept it.
