Editing rules
All photographs must be taken by the entrant from life after 1 January 2025; photographers must, if required, show proof of the date on which the photograph was taken. The Taylor Wessing Irish Photo Prize (sister competition) explicitly excludes generative AI and AI-assisted imagery; the NPG London rules do not surface explicit AI language in publicly available text, so the field is marked unspecified pending editor review of the rules PDF.
