Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize 2026
Run by London's National Portrait Gallery, the Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize is the UK's pre-eminent portraiture award, with an exhibition at the NPG following the announcement of winners. The 2026 edition closed in April. Submissions must be from-life portraits taken after 1 January 2025; up to six entries per photographer at GBP 22 each. Judging is anonymous and conducted in two rounds, starting digitally and finishing with original prints.

All photographs must be taken by the entrant from life after 1 January 2025; photographers must, if required, show proof of the date on which the photograph was taken.
