Natural Landscape Photography Awards 2027 (NLPA)
The Natural Landscape Photography Awards (NLPA), a Lumethic pilot partner organised by Tim Parkin and co-founders, is the leading landscape competition explicitly built around realistic, non-composited photography in an age of AI. The 2026 results were published on 21 September 2026, with Lukas Furlan, runner-up the year before, named Photographer of the Year. Year 7 (2027) shifts to a summer window: the organizers' key dates open entries on 15 June 2027 and close them on 31 July 2027, with RAW files requested from finalists around 5 October and results announced in the week of 22 November 2027. The rules stand: no AI or compositing, RAW checks for finals. Fees and prizes for 2027 are not yet published.

Editing rules
NLPA was founded in 2021 by Tim Parkin, Matt Payne, Rajesh Jyothiswaran and Alex Nail as a platform for realistic landscape photography. The headline rule on the home page is No A.I. or Compositing, backed by the golden rule that the integrity of the subject must be maintained. The rules page, which is not edition-specific, forbids introducing new elements, removing significant elements, distorting elements, combining different focal lengths, combining images taken at significantly different times and best-of-sequence blends. Enforcement is a RAW review phase: RAW files must be available for verification in later stages, the Year 7 key dates schedule the RAW request to finalists for around 5 October 2027, and JPG-only or film shooters must offer other proof. The 2026 multiple exposure and ICM Special Award was a trial; its continuation in 2027 is not yet stated.
