Post-processing techniques that could realistically be achieved in a darkroom will be accepted, but jurors have the discretion to reject any entry that they believe has been overly manipulated, thereby compromising the integrity of the original image.

Editing rules

The Drone Photo Awards inherits its image-integrity rules from the Siena International Photo Awards: post-processing is limited to what could realistically be done in a darkroom; AI image generation, generative fill, and significant content alteration fall outside the permitted scope. Files must be JPGs in sRGB or Adobe98, 8-bit, longest dimension under 1920 px at 72 dpi; watermarks and borders are not allowed.
