The Memorial Maria Luisa is one of Europe's leading mountain, nature, and adventure photo and video competitions, named after Spanish mountaineer Maria Luisa Alvarez Garcia. In its 36th year, the 2026 cycle drew 18,059 photos and 182 films from 1,450 photographers in 78 countries. Overall winner receives EUR 4,000, a trophy, a portfolio book, and invitations to the awards gala in Asturias on 24-25 April 2026.
