World Photographic Cup 2026

The World Photographic Cup is the photography industry's annual team competition, with each nation selecting up to six photographers via its national federation to represent it across six categories. AI and CGI elements are banned across all categories - the contest's central rule is that all image elements must be made by the submitting photographer. The top-15 ranked images undergo RAW/original-file verification.

Authenticity policy

AI policy

The WPC is a photographic competition where all elements used in images must be made by the submitting photographer, and the use of stock images or image elements created using AI/CGI are not permitted.

RAW files

The WPC Competition committee will request original files (Raw or JPG that includes original EXIF data) for Top 15 images after the Judging to confirm eligibility.

Editing rules

The WPC is the photography industry's 'team cup' - photographers represent their national federations rather than entering individually. Rules vary by category (Commercial, Illustrative Portrait, Illustration/Digital Art, Natural Portrait), but AI and CGI elements are uniformly banned across all categories. Top-15 images undergo RAW/original-file verification.
