World Food Photography Awards 2026 (formerly Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year)
The World Food Photography Awards (formerly Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year) is the international award for food and drink photography, with winners exhibited at Mall Galleries in London. The 2026 cycle was judged with winners announced in early June. The contest's published policy on generative AI is among the strictest in food photography: any AI-created entry is automatically disqualified, and the organisers may request RAW files for authenticity verification.

Authenticity policy
AI policy
Only photographs captured with a camera and, if edited, by the photographer, without the use of AI algorithms or any other form of artificial intelligence, are eligible for entry. Any entries which are found to be created with AI will be automatically disqualified by the Organisers of the Awards with no subsequent communication undertaken.
RAW files
The Organisers reserve the right to request RAW files in order to establish authenticity and integrity of the entered image(s).
Editing rules
The World Food Photography Awards (the renamed Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year) takes an explicit hard line on AI: any entries created with AI are automatically disqualified with no further communication, and attempting to pass off AI images may result in permanent exclusion. The organisers retain the right to request RAW files for authenticity verification.
