ÖVF Österreich Fotowettbewerb 2026

The Österreich Fotowettbewerb is the national open competition of the Austrian Photography Association (ÖVF), and every entry has to be photographed in Austria. The 2026 round accepted entries from 1 February to 31 May at EUR 8 per theme, with up to four images per theme. The AI clause is short and firm: images that were not photographed as a whole are out, and so are elements generated by prompt, while photographic composites remain allowed. Without any RAW or capture check, the rule rests on the entrant's word.

Entries are JPG files of at least 3,840 pixels on the long side and must have been photographed in Austria. Every part of an image, composites included, has to be the entrant's own photograph; images generated as a whole and AI-generated elements inserted by prompt are excluded. The rules do not mention RAW files or capture verification.
