LensCulture Critics' Choice 2026
Critics' Choice is one of several yearly LensCulture competitions, distinguished by its curation model: twenty critics from museums, galleries, magazines and festivals each personally pick three photographers, recognising up to sixty winners overall. The 2026 rules ban purely AI-generated work. The first single-image entry is free, with paid options up to a US$45 series of ten. Top 10 winners receive US$1,000 cash and a London exhibition. The combination of low cost, broad recognition and a clear AI policy makes this a frequent entry point for emerging photographers.
